John 16:22 says, "So you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you". In this verse, Jesus is reassuring his disciples that they will experience great joy after a time of sorrow. In this time of sorrow, we may not fully understand. The Holy Spirit will lead us in the right direction. Allow God to take control.
